it's the mugging season of the year now. all my friends around me are burying their heads in their books except me. i tried to force myself to read through notes but it didn't work, my mind seems to be wandering elsewhere. i just don't have the interest in this field of study ...but i must persevere. what i am interested in, it's not really feasible. when i was young (in primary school), i wanted to be an architect. then, in secondary school, i wanted to be a journalist. after the o's, i began to discover what i really like, which is languages. so i started learning french for half a year at alliance francaise. i really enjoyed my days there. i get to meet people from all over the world too. i had to stop after half a year as my poly life was starting soon. but when i was in poly, to my delight, there were language courses offered. so i continued where i left off at alliance francaise. i took up french and spanish. i felt really at home when i went for language classes. i always look forward to the days when there were french lessons. not that i wanna brag or something, just wanna say that i scored AD for this "module" which is the highest among my other grades which are core modules. once you discover what you like, you will really work hard for it without feeling burdened. but learning foreign languages is kind of a waste as i don't get to practice it in my country. i can only practice it when i'm in class. right now, i can only remember basic french. what a pity huh? now, thanks to my good friend WT, i'm korean-ified for the moment. i'm sort of picking up korean through korean dramas, variety shows, music etc. i miss korea! okay, enough of my rambling. i have to really get on with studying. i have to fulfil this first so that i can earn enough dough to chase my passion for languages. my wish is to become a translator or something related to languages. oh, and i would really love to have a cafe of my own ;) let's do some mugging now!
