serena was on medical leave...the place was really quiet. its not the same when one of us is not around. 2 new staff came in. one of them is a friend of qq's. she's really tall and cute. nice girl too =) the other new girl is sherlyn or shirley? =/ well, i don't know much about her. but she seems nice? o_- i watched "the terminal" with wenjie papa and family friend yuting. gigi mama couldn't make it for the show coz she got held up. i was really disappointed coz papa's here but mama ain't. ah well...we bought popcorn and a huge cup of iced lemon tea. that's for my dinner! hmm the movie itself was pretty good actually. tom hanks did a good job of portraying that guy -haha i couldn't remember his name. catherine zeta-jones looks amazing as usual.

umm what did i do for this day? i can't remember!!! omg zzz.
haha serena helped me remember some stuff. one of the highlights was wenjie papa came down to lunch with us. but instead of lunching with the whole family...he ended up only lunching with serena and me. and its his last day to see us before he goes off for ns. but we did took a "family portrait" lol.
ooh wait another highlight... had qq not told us about the nkf screening thingy, we wouldn't have known more about our body. phew my bmi is in the normal range...but the most startling thing is...my cholesterol level of 199 mg/dl is just 1 below the desirable level of 200. omg =_= there goes my junk food...my beloved eggs...

finally gigi mama could make it for a movie "new police story" ...but too bad wenjie papa has already left for ns. yuting was supposed to watch the movie with us, but she got held up. *groans* there were only 2 of us left. mother and daughter haha. but...but...siew choo called and came bouncing along with us =D hanging out with those 2...was just dynamic. their funny antics and crap made me laughed till my jaws ached with tears forming in my eyes. gosh haha. we munched on nachos and had iced lemon tea during the movie. "new police story" was good...! great action scenes... =) especially when daniel wu's in it. he is soooooo good looking!!! i just can't help but fall in love with him lol.

i was really looking forward to the end of the working day coz we're gonna play BADMINTON! omg haha...my love for it never ends~ serena was already feeling unwell in the morning...but she insisted on going =/ papa wenjie and family friend/aunt yuting joined us (qq, serena, me) for badminton. mama gigi took the day off as she had something on. we left the office at around 6.40pm to buy some bread and took a bus to changi airport. yt booked the court from 7.30 to 9.30pm but we reached at 8pm. whatever we do...we always seem to be late lol. to my delight, the courts there were fully air conditioned =D "whack! smack! slam!" ahh, how i miss those sounds =P we played doubles and singles. doubles are much more fun as you don't have to run all over the court to chase that stupid little shuttlecock =D after one and a half hour of running around the court, we went for dinner at burger king. serena wasn't feeling too good, so we left for home straight after dinner. overall, i had fun but the whole picture would be complete if mama came along =/

mmm...my life now pretty much revolves around the people whom i kept mentioning in the previous entries. but time is gonna put a stop to this. we're all gonna be separated very soon =( thank you yall for the memorable moments you've given me. i'm really glad to have met these wonderful people. *hugs and kisses*

my middle sis, qq, peeled chicken for me today! lol horrible me... =/ we were at kfc for lunch. we had the $4.95 ultimate meal thingy...urgh, the portions were horrendously tiny and it wasn't enough haha. i'm such a pig...nooo piglet i mean. airlia and cynthia came in the afternoon to accompany us? haha i don't know...maybe visit us? it has gotta be one of those hehe. gigi mama took the morning off, so there were only the 3 kids (serena, qq and me) and eugene. i couldn't help but squealed with excitement when i saw gigi mama at the workstation when we got back from lunch lol.
BADMINTON THIS FRIDAY! I CAN'T WAIT TO WHACK SOME ASS! (in this case, shuttlecocks rather =/)

i'm too tired to really remember what happened yesterday...so its just gonna be vague.
[monday sept 20]
the four of us, qq, wenjie, serena and i went to bedok for dinner after work. gigi couldn't join us as she was kinda sick and went home straight. we took a cab there haha. we pooled our money and bought satay, minced pork noodles, sugar cane juice, chicken wings, oyster omelette and cold desserts. i had many sticks of chicken satay and ketupats as i didn't want to eat the minced pork noodles and chicken wings haha. ahem and qq fed me eggs from the oyster omelette using her chopsticks as there wasn't any fork available =/ aww haha. we played "guess the word" too. our fave game of the moment lol. but its still fun =) i had 2 tortoises drawn on my hand >_< qq had a tortoise and weirdo looking face on her hand. only serena and wenjie had a tortoise on their hands =_= we took quite a few pics...there were some candid moments but aww what a pity, qq and serena snatched the cam away and deleted the "pics". we left for home just five minutes before 9pm hehe.
its wenjie's last day at work today. sigh, i can't say much coz i didn't lunch with the gang today. *disappointed* i couldn't go as our boss wanted to give the four students (me!) on attachment a lunch treat. and it wasn't a nice gesture to decline especially when its your boss. oh well =/ we lunched at pasta mania. boss actually wanted to get 5 pastas and a pizza plus 5 combos, but we felt it was too much and ordered 2 pastas and 2 large pizzas instead. the pastas were chicken bolognese and seafood while the pizzas were ham and mushroom and vegetarian. heh i would have preferred cafe cartel to pasta mania. but i ain't complaining haha. we'll all miss papa wenjie! =P

haha i had a lot of joy and laughter on friday (17 sept). i was really looking forward to the end of workday...coz we (the office gang and i) are gonna hang out together at coffee club xpress at wisma. but first, we had to wait for the mooncake man to deliver the mooncakes as gigi and qq had ordered mooncakes earlier on. we waited and waited till 8pm plus. in the midst of waiting, we played "guess the word". but too bad the words we were to guess are chinese idioms, i couldn't guess a single at all. the rest had an edge over me =_=
after collecting the mooncakes and storing them in the refrigerator in the office, we promptly left the office for orchard. cynthia was waiting for us outside the office building. and qq's sis who was to join us supposedly but ended going back home coz she couldn't wait that long. then...airlia called me on my mobile. she kept telling me to look behind me, but i didn't believe her until she said i was wearing blue. so i turned and looked...and there she is...walking behind and acting cool again lol (kidding!). the whole group took the train to orchard and airlia splitted from us there. we played "guess the word" on the way to orchard. haha, it was soooo much fun!
serena, qq, gigi, wenjie, cynthia and i went off to coffee club xpress and had our dinner there. the main purpose of going to coffee club was to have our long awaited mudpies but we ended up having the daily set dinners and mudpies while wenjie had the triple chocolate a la mode which is 4 brownies stacked on top of each other to resemble a campfire or something topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. wenjie and i had baked chicken macaroni, while serena and qq had chicken teriyaki sandwich and gigi had roast beef sandwich. their food looks much better than mine =/ i only liked the mozzarella cheese coating =X i don't know why qq was so enthusiatic about the game "guess the word" that day lol...she set the words and we guessed. sooo cute haha. i lost the first game and she drew a turtle on my hand for losing. i began to pick up and didn't lose any later. wenjie and gigi lost one each, and wenjie got a slightly bigger turtle drawn on his hand by qq while gigi's was a face with three strands of hair drawn by wenjie haha.
we were really noisy...i bet the the peeps at the other tables were peeved haha =/ our laughter could bring the house down. which reminds me...i missed my poly days with the lao gang ='( it won't the same again when we all go back to school. *sighs* guess what time we left? we were the last to leave and it was kinda close to 11pm when we left. *tired*

oh wait, i fell on my butt twice while skating. it still kinda hurts =\ the ice wasn't that nice yesterday. but there's one good thing, there were loads of eye candy =P *wink winks grin grins*

ahh finally i got to watch "les choristes" !!! i watched it with cuiling, one of my good friends from my poly gang. damn...the boy who acted as pierre morhange, he's awfully good looking and not to mention, i totally dig his voice. his looks are classic. and he's only 14!?!?! he's such a darling... here's his biography which i got from a website...its in french lol but i guess you can kinda guess what it means.

nothing much has happened for the past few days so thats the reason why i didn't update my blog. gigi was on medical leave for the past 2 days...one person's laughter and crapping less. its just isn't complete. we all missed her a lot! she'll be back tomorrow =)
cuiling and i are gonna watch "les choristes" tomorrow...i hope!

i just got home from the airport ahaha. it has been a really long time since i laughed my ass off with my friends. my jaws hurts too haha. this time, its with the people i "work" with...ahem, or rather eat snake with =X serena and gang!!! they're the funniest, weirdest, craziest, wackiest, blurest, crappiest and coolest group of people i've ever met =D
during lunch today, gigi, qiuyan and i each bought the same tee from giordano junior. we took a really long time to persuade lao da to buy the same tee. but she refused indignantly hahaha. we got back to the office at around 2.40pm! can you imagine how long our break were?! nah, we left for lunch late too. ser nam was waiting for me to come back then she could go over to tc1 to do her stuff. i felt so bad =X i must re-emphasize this again, she's such a nice lady!
back in the office, i was sooooo busy till i had no time for stoning! =( but its fine, coz after work, we planned to go to the airport for mudpie at coffee club xpress. after knocking off from work which it is already like 6.50pm...we went back to the giordano area where we bought the tees. in the end, we saw another tee which is v-shaped instead of the round neck tee we bought earlier in the afternoon. qiuyan dug and dug for the size 130 until the clothes were so messy and strewn all over haha =X but we only managed to find 3. and so, qiuyan and i bought one each while lao da was "psycho-ed" to buy the remaining tee. qiuyan and i are gonna wear the tee to work tomorrow haha =/
when we got to the airport, oh gawd...imagine a gang of 5 blur people walking around looking for the entrance and coffee club xpress lol~ it took us like half an hour to an hour to discover that coffee club xpress was closed indefinitely (i think!). it took us another 20 mins to decide where to have dinner haha. finally, we decided on swensens lol. err and it took us another half an hour for our table and 15 mins to decide on what to eat =_= after loads of crapping and an hour later, we had ice cream. the decision on choosing the ice cream took like another 15 mins. BTH! whahaha but nah, we had all fun together. it was already 10.40-ish when we moved our butts home.
i truly enjoyed myself today...thank you, you guys! we should have more outing like this haha!

i've been really tired lately...i don't know why. maybe its coz of the independence and i have to be on my feet all the time.
this morning, on the way to work, i slept in the train all the way till pasir ris =/ missed a stop and i'm sooo late by like 20 mins. i was huffing and puffing till i reached the office. fortunately, ser nam was cool and laughed it off. when lunchtime came, each of us got a complimentary mini cup of ice cream from haagen dazs...courtesy of my department. i chose cookies 'n cream while the others had mango. mmm yummy! we were even thinking of going to coffee club for mudpies after work tomorrow. i hope that really happens! =D i totally dig junk food =/ its bad for health i know...ah well =/
the workload was really heavy later in the afternoon. i don't think i slept a wink today! amazing o_o but now, my eyelids are droopy and heavy. i can just doze off anytime.

i was all alone at work today, but it was fine. i hope tomorrow would be the same too. 2 bad news for the day...badminton will be postponed to next week and tickets for the movie "les choristes" were sold out =( aww man = that just broke my heart...nah kidding. i'm just disappointed. looking forward to next week!
in the morning, wenjie bought baguette from delifrance and ahem, we used the "koped" butter to spread it over the bread =/ cafe cartel's bread is nicer =X

its a horrid day at the office. i only got to stone during lunch and after work. sigh...and george wasn't in a good mood after lunch. but his mood got better after a while. he'll be off for reservist for 3 days starting from tomorrow =/ i'm gonna be all alone again...
here's the highlight of the day...thank god for that or else i'll feel so dead. yuting, gigi and i watched "a cinderella story" after work =D hee, its such a good feeling to see yuting again...we all missed her so much. the movie was alright, just that its a little draggy =/ the 'prince' guy is kinda cute =P its too fairytale-like, stuff like that only happen to other people. if i could just undo all my wrongdoings in the past, life would be too good to be true and i'll be much happier than what i am now. err i'm starting to crap again...excuse me for that.
the courts are fully booked for friday =/ but there's still hope...i think the courts for thursday are not fully booked yet.
on the way home, i started to think a lot again. so many "if onlys" just kept clouding through my mind. oh well *shrugs*

the only interesting thing that happened today was...i slept till 10.30am and went back to sleep at 1pm. then i woke up at close to 4pm. i'm still sleepy *yawns* i got online, chatted and played gunbound. thats how i spend my sundays =/ okay i'm out...lata!

i had fun ice skating today =D i fell on the ice once...coz my lil sis made me fell, she fell too lol =/ my body didn't touch the ice, my hands did ahaha. my brother (yay, he's back from camp!) fell many times. countless actually. but its all in good fun =) i think i exercised my arms more than my legs haha...coz i kept on hanging onto the rink walls =X something special happened today, its the first time in my many visits to the ice skating rink. there was a birthday dedication...and suddenly the lights went off and foam started falling down from the top. its sorta like snow hehe. it feels nice skating with "snow" falling on you.
after skating, we (my family) went to harbourfront for dinner. there's nothing interesting about that place for the moment. maybe there will an ice skating rink built next time? hehe =/ *keeps fingers crossed*
i'm gonna be watching a movie next monday with gigi and yuting!!! my movie buddies heehee =D hopefully the plans for playing badminton next friday will become reality =

i was pretty much stoning in the morning till ser nam gave george a call and told me to move my butt over to tc1 =/ i had to reluctantly drag myself over there. that means no slacking with my friends hehe. ah well, but i've got ahzi and ser nam at tc1 haha. i still managed to doze off in a different environment O_O sheesh. i guess ser nam kinda knew i slept coz she passed me some sweets which she said was to keep me awake =X
the five of us (lao da, gigi, wenjie, qiuyan and me) lunched at cafe cartel today. it was rather funny. we ordered 4 set lunches which include a soup and drink each. after the waitress took down our orders, we "chionged" straight for the bread, butter and water. wenjie and lao da took a lot of bread though...but the bread was nice. i thought the butter wasn't enough, so umm i "koped" more. in fact, there were still a lot of butter left after we finished our meals. ahh, here's the really funny part... wenjie and lao da talked and talked till the conversation changed to butter. wenjie said the excess butter can be kept for breakfast lol. and they really did it! lao da helped to wrap up the butter with serviettes and wenjie dumped them in his pockets. bulging pockets haha. the "koped" butter was then left in the fridge in the office lol~! one more thing, gigi and i were sharing a drink. i forgot about that and blew bubbles into the drink with the straw. gigi went "eeeeww" and said i can have the drink. oops =X that wasn't intentional!!! but i totally enjoyed today's lunch =D
i guess lady luck wasn't with lao da today. she sneezed and sneezed till she somehow managed to bang into a road sign. that really hurts. uhh blur? =/ *patpats lao da's head*

haha i just watched sg idol...can i have christopher? he's awfully cute =P and he's my age too! but ashlee's still number one heehee.
the day at work was actually fine until the end of the day. arthur aka mr blockhead...sigh, i don't know what to say about him. he always give me stuff to do at the very last minute. well i ended up staying in the office till like 7pm+. bloody hell. moreover, i didn't know how to do it. i was already on the verge of crying. luckily, ser nam came back in time and saved me, or else i would be camping overnight in the office =_= i love you i love you i love you! *muacks*
the funny thing is, everytime i'm left alone, i don't doze off as much as i do when george or ser nam is around. how is that so? *shrugs* george took half the day off... i did everything really quickly so that i could slack longer. but i don't always manage to slack for long coz the stuff just keeps on coming in. that sucks.
earlier in the afternoon, airlia and cynthia dropped by for a visit =) suddenly the atmosphere became livelier with their presence. that airlia took my hp and kept it with her till she was leaving. and in revenge, i took hers too =/ airlia's gonna turn umm 23? in 50 minutes from now. happy birthday to you in advance!
oof, my left knee got scratched by my fingernail. i see blood =/ eew! it hurts =(

the day started off all right, with the usual dozing offs and stuff. for lunch, we ate at a nearby food outlet. then i went to tc1 to do what i'm supposed to do. well apparently, i didn't managed to do anything at all. guess why? i don't have the records of customers which is necessary for this. so i went back to tc2 to continue my daily operational stuff. ser nam will be back tomorrow i think. and george will go on a half day leave =_= oh well *shrugs* eugene caught me sleeping at work! i was really sleepy...and i guess i must have dozed off in the middle of doing something as my pen was still in my hand. =/ but then again, he caught me sleeping quite a number of times already =X aaah!
there wasn't anything interesting today. pretty much nothing to write haha. i'm just filling it in with crap. uff.
